Kirsten leads Gong’s Africa business development with significant time in on the ground in Nairobi. Recent credits include leading the rebrand of Shelter Afrique and helping to build the international profile of Kenyan entrepreneur, Njeri Rionge. Kirsten joined Gong in 2007 from NGO, Rainforest Concern, where she managed international multi-stakeholder communications. Kirsten grew up in West and East Africa and has an Economics degree from Kent University.
Beverly joined Gong Communications, Kenya as managing director in February 2015 bringing with her 15 years’ of advertising and marketing experience in the region. Previous posts include: business unit director at Express DDB Kenya where she was responsible for new business and managing clients such as the Kenya Tourist Board and Wrigleys; group account director at Ogilvy & Mather where she gained recognition for her promotional work for Econet Wireless Kenya, and senior account manager for Scanad.

Ceciliah has seven years’ experience in communications gained from working in various Public Relations agencies, and in the media. She has previously worked at Apex Porter Novelli, Gina Din Corporate Communications and Biblia Husema Broadcasting. In her PR career she has handled various assignments for clients in various sectors – health, manufacturing, CSR, technology, sports, banking, real estate among others. Ceciliah has a solid media background having trained as a Journalist and worked as a beat reporter and later as a Features Writer early in her career. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Public Relations from Moi University and a Diploma in Journalism and Media Studies from the East Africa Institute of Information Studies.
